Matt’s & Stephanie Fogg’s Lullaby to be Performed at Carnegie Hall!
I am so proud to say that one of the lullabies that Stephanie Fogg and I wrote and performed will be featured and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City! This is very exciting for me as a musician, composer, and parent.
Here is some more information about the lullaby project…
The Lullaby Project, part of Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections program, creates musical experiences for women facing pregnancy in their teenage years or while homeless or incarcerated. The project invites participants to work with professional artists to write a personal lullaby for their babies, strengthening the bond between parent and child. Now extending across the country, the Lullaby Project enables partner organizations to support families in their own communities.
2013 UMA Faculty Ensemble Videos
Matt was privileged to play in the University of Maine August Faculty Ensemble this year, and we have the videos to prove it! Along with Matt were Michael Dease, Tim Weir, Steve Grover, Greg Loughman, and David Wells.
New Winter 2012 Dates
Matt will be continuing his busy schedule throughout Winter 2012, playing at several great venues in November and December. To find out more, go to the shows page.
In addition to his own schedule, Matt continues to spend lots of time working with students at the Midcoast School Of Music in both Bath and Portland, Maine. At the moment, he is involved with several of the ensembles that are practicing for an upcoming showcase on November 12th at The Stockhouse Restaurant in Westbrook, Maine. If you or someone you know is interested in either music lessons or playing with great musicians, this is a good way to see what MSOM is all about.
